Silicone Liners

Silicone - The material for outstanding material properties

Extremely high elasticity.
Silicone's low intermolecular forces lend it excellent chain dynamics. This provides the material with very high elasticity and pliability, properties that are retained even after long-term usage. This ensures that the liners remain highly flexible and capable of adapting to the cow's highly sensitive teats.

Very low material aging.
A silicone liner is exposed to extremely high levels of mechanical stress, opening and closing approximately 60 times per minute and thus 5 million times during its lifetime. Thanks to its chain structure (SI-O), silicone is highly resistant to aging and therefore has a longer life. As such, it can be used for up to 1500 working hours.

Unchanging material properties.
Using silicone guarantees that the milking characteristics remain constant over the liner's entire working life – for optimal and animal-friendly milking.

Good shelf life.
Silicone liners can be stored for longer without the need for any extra precautions. However, we recommend storing them away from light in a cool and dry environment.

Premium economic efficiency.
Alongside the advantages of using silicone in milking and its long shelf life, silicone eliminates the need for frequent and time-consuming liner replacement. This makes silicone even more cost-effective.
