Westfalia Best Image of the Industry

In 2000 the Westfalia Landtechnik GmbH ranks first at the annual image survey of the German Agricultural Society (DLG) again.  The company with headquarters at Oelde achieved 91 of 100 image points in the survey carried out in Autumn 2000 and increased its lead over the runner-up, a direct competitor, to 11 points (last year: nine points). 

The score of image points which Westfalia achieves has been constantly increased since 1996 (78 points). The 620 farmers of the DLG panel evaluate companies of different branches: agriculture, animal production or service providers such as banks and insurances. No trade names are given, the participants are asked to name no more than five companies which they regard to be “particularly good” or “particularly innovative”. 

The evaluation is based on the appraisal of the criteria reliability, customer service, advanced technology and cost/benefit ratio.
