OneTouch - New Milking Function Unit for Stanchion Barns

Westfalia Landtechnik presents OneTouch, a new, compact milking function unit with electronic milk yield display and automatic milking unit detacher for stanchion barns.  The streamlined milk flowpath design provides  a steady vacuum and therefore comfortable milking with exact and clear milk yield display. 

The milk yield is permanently displayed. An LED display shows the end  of milking. Furthermore the system offers a productivity control – an interesting feature for farms with farmhands: the systems registers the complete milk yield that has been gained with that device at the time and the time it took to milk.

Integrated Pulsator 

The compact device is easy to handle and user-friendly. Settings for the end-of-milking display, the detacher and all milking data can be easily adjusted and read. All milk, vacuum and electric lines are connected with one movement. Compact, lightweight comfortable handle. It’s weight of 1.3 kg (less than 5.5 kg with cluster) makes it easy to carry the OneTouch pulsator and milk yield system from cow to cow or from the dairy room to the barn. 

OneTouch can be easily upgraded with an automatic detacher. Even than the device is lighter than comparable ones. 

Audible and Visual End-of-Milking Signal 

A two-step audible and visual end-of-milking alarm guaranties  animal-friendly milking and an improved milking routine. The alarm signals avoids “blind milking” and therefore ensures udder health. The first step indicates the reduced milk flow. This is an important indication for the milker, he can then prepare the next cow. The second step is a emergency signal that the cluster has to be taken off. If the milker does not interfere then, the automatic take-off version gentle removes the cluster.
