As a result of acquisitions made during the last few years, WestfaliaSurge has launched a new logo in the dairy equipment industry: the “Westfalia”, “JAPY” and “SURGE” brands have been merged to form WestfaliaSurge! The company is using the new corporate image and logo to underline its expertise as a system developer and provider of service concepts for milk producers worldwide.
The new company name of the headquarters in Oelde is WestfaliaSurge GmbH. The German subsidiary, which is responsible for the German market, will also trade as WestfaliaSurge Deutschland GmbH as from now on. The subsidiary companies throughout the world will also assume the new name.
The new trademark merges the renowned Westfalia and Surge dairy equipment names together. WestfaliaSurge symbolises the further development of the successful company strategy even more towards service and customer ori-entation. The logo colours green and orange ensure continuity, trust and familiarity within the sector. In this way the core elements of the previous Westfalia and SURGE design continue to live on.
With ProFormance and ProMilk the company has developed two new market-ing concepts under the corporate umbrella. ProFormance stands for unique service and consultancy concepts regarding the planning and optimisation of systems. ProMilk stands for a unique product and service concept for produc-ing the best quality milk at lower operating costs.
Dr. Anton Daubner, chief executive officer of the WestfaliaSurge group: “We are using the new image and logo to underpin our global set up. A new corpo-rate culture has arisen that wants to make the benefits from the acquisitions of the past few years clear to the customers and make them available world-wide.”
The function of the “Ellipse“in the logo is to point the way forward in the future: WestfaliaSurge will add even more dynamism to both market processing as well as to the development of new products and service orientated ideas.
The WestfaliaSurge Group is an independent business division of GEA AG, Bochum, which is a sub group of mg technologies AG, Frankfurt.
