This program is the PMD 24/7 Network computer program. Download the file and double-click on it to extract 3 files. Once downloaded and installed, it will operate in a demonstration mode. This version can also be registered to operate on a facility that has WestfaliaSurge PMD 24/7. After downloading the file, go to Windows ‘start’ and then click on ‘run’. Browse in the downloaded PMD files for the file labeled ‘setup.exe’. Run this program to install the PMD 24/7 network program onto your computer. Once the program is installed on your computer, run the program labeled ‘PMD.exe’. The program will operate in DEMO mode with sample data. Once WestfaliaSurge PMD units have been installed, this program can be loaded onto the dairy computer and then registered using the following steps to communicate with the installed PMD 24/7 Network units.

Steps for Registering the WestfaliaSurge PMD 24/7 Networked program

1. Install and Open WestfaliaSurge PMD 24/7 Networked program. Click “OK” to run the program in Demo mode.
2. Click on “Export Computer ID” and enter your farm’s name. Click OK.
3. Save the “computerKey.cky” file in an easy to find location or unto a jump drive, disc, etc if the dairy does not have email access.
4. Send an email to PMD@westfaliasurge.com with the following information: 
   a) Your name
   b) Your phone number
   c) Your farms name
   d) The name of your WestfaliaSurge Dealer
   e) An email address where you can receive an email with an attachement
   f) Finally, attach the “computerKey.cky” file to the message and send it to the address above.
5. You will receive an email from WestfaliaSurge containing the Liberation Key for the program in a file named “ws.ALL” attached to the email. Save the file in an easy to find location or onto a jump drive, disc etc. if the dairy does not have email access.
6. Open the WestfaliaSurge PMD 24/7 Networked program, again clicking on “OK” to run in Demo mode.
7. Click on “Import Software Key” and open the “ws.ALL” file you received in the email.
8. Follow the directions on the screen to create a password for the Setup Screen and begin setting up the program to meet your farm’s needs.   

The key will only allow the original computer to communicate with the PMD units. If for some reason the computer is replaced or the key is lost, the program will have to be reregistered.
