The Magnum reliably pumps slurry with a high straw content to the main storage

The top-quality manufacture of all components, together
with 25 years experience, ensures that the Magnum is a
safe, reliable pump.

The Magnum requires no reception pit and can be
combined with a range of different designs of hopper,
thereby allowing it to be used in a range of locations.

The hydraulically driven and precisely machined guillotine
valves ensure a good seal even for manure that
contains long straw.

* The addition of water may be required. Straw bedding can amount to around 18kg per 10 milking cows a day. Performance varies according to installation, manure consistency, volume and type of bedding.

Working Principle

Siphoning Cycle During the siphoning cycle, the evacuation guillotine shuts down, the hopper guillotine opens and finally, the piston siphons the manure from the hopper.

Evacuation Cycle During the evacuation cycle, the hopper guillotine closes, the evacuation guillotine opens and finally, the piston forces the manure into the evacuation line.

Hopper

Different models of hopper to suit installations with 1 or 2 scrapers.

Also available for manure scraped by a skid-steer loader.

Discharge options to prevent manure flow back

Magnum with spring loaded guillotine and 16" manual safety guillotine valve at discharge.

For manure from cubicle sheds that free of sand and when the top of the slurry tank is above the barn floor.
