Dr. Andreas Hölderlin takes over as head of Innovation Management worldwide
 
On 1st March, Dr. Ing. Andreas Hölderlin took over as head of Research and Development in the WestfaliaSurge group.

On 1st March, Dr. Ing. Andreas Hölderlin took over as head of Research and Development in the WestfaliaSurge group. He will be in charge of the two development centres in Oelde, Germany and Galesville, USA for the company which is one of the two biggest milking technology manufacturers in the world. With a PhD in mechanical engeering, he previously held management positions in the field of technical development within the Electric Tools department at Robert Bosch GmbH, at GEZE GmbH, manufacturer of door and window technology for intelligent buildings, and at Paul Vahle GmbH, a leading supplier of power supply systems. Chairman of the board of the WestfaliaSurge group, Dr. Anton Daubner, is delighted to welcome Dr. Hölderlin: "With him, the company has a proven expert to develop intelligent systems who is comitted to the challenges of the next few years."

WestfaliaSurge is one of the initiators of the planned "Bio-Security" centre of competence which will be created over the next twelve months directly adjacent to the new WestfaliaSurge headquarters which are being built in Bönen, North Rhine-Westfalia. There under one roof, scientists, designers and manufacturing companies from different disciplines will work on complete solutions in order to improve food safety and quality.
